After 15 years of renting, countless obstacles, and years of dreaming about what the future could look like, Cats Cradle Shelter has officially purchased its forever home! ❤️🏡

We are beyond excited to announce that we have closed on our new property at 1501 32nd Ave. S. in Fargo, formerly Town & Country Credit Union!

This is one of the biggest milestones in our organization’s history.

For years, we’ve dreamed of having a permanent home where we could save more lives, provide better medical care, and create a safer, healthier environment for the cats who depend on us and the people who care for them. That dream is now becoming a reality.

Our new shelter will allow us to:

🐱 Rescue and care for even more displaced cats and kittens.

🩺 Expand our medical and isolation areas to better protect vulnerable animals.

🏠 Build larger colony rooms and welcoming adoption spaces.

❤️ Improve the experience for our volunteers, fosters, adopters, and every cat that comes through our doors.

This exciting new chapter also marks the beginning of a fresh new look for Cats Cradle Shelter. As we move into our forever home, we’ll also be unveiling a new logo and updated branding that reflects who we are today and the future we’re building. While our look may be changing, one thing never will: our commitment to saving homeless cats and kittens. We can’t wait to share our new brand with you in the coming months.

This isn’t just a new building. It’s a strong commitment to our community that Cats Cradle Shelter will continue saving lives for many years to come.

We’re currently waiting for city permits so renovations can begin, and once construction starts, we’ll be sharing photos and updates every step of the way. We can’t wait for you to watch this transformation with us!

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our dedicated volunteers, adopters, fosters, donors, sponsors, and our amazing community. Every adoption, every donation, every volunteer hour, every foster hour, and every word of encouragement helped make this day possible. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for supporting us in the good times and encouraging us through the difficult ones.

But our journey is just beginning!

Over the next few months, we’ll be launching our Capital Campaign to raise the funds needed to renovate and transform this building into the shelter our community and its homeless cats deserve.
